Happy New Years Everyone!
I hope your Christmas and New Years were both amazing. I didn’t actually intend to take a week off from blogging, but I did…and it was nice. This Christmas was a bittersweet one as we had to say goodbye for now to a sweet friend. As hard as it was and is, there was precious time with friends and family, for which I am very grateful.
On to New Years. I am not normally a New Year’s Resolution type person, but this year, since we are expecting our second child, I have some. Honestly, I think I will have to accomplish them in order to accommodate our growing family. Though you probably don’t want to be bored with those, I also have a few recipes I want to try in 2012. Ok, so maybe they aren’t exactly resolutions, just a few recipes on my must bake list. There aren’t many so I fully intend to check all of these off my list, although, mastering the macarons might take a bit.

I would be willing to sample the French Macarons for you. I had some while in DC from a great little bake shop that specializes in them. Delicious! So I’m pretty much a pro taster now.
Maybe I need you to give me some pointers Amy!
how did I miss this?! I will also be a macaroon guinea pig any day! (: (or pretty much any of these…)
