I guess you could call this confetti fudge, cake batter budge, birthday cake fudge. Really whatever you would like It is super fast, super easy and super pretty. One of my wonderful friends had pinned the recipe on Pintrest and when I saw it I wanted to try it…immediately. It was an intriguing recipe, cake mix turned into fudge. After two different batches, I came up with this recipe.
Cake Batter Fudge
3 cups confetti or french vanilla cake mix
3 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 stick butter or margarine, cut into small squares
1/4 cup milk
sprinkles (I guess you could say they are optional, but I think they are a must)
Line a 8×8 glass pan with foil and grease with butter. Mix cake mix and icing sugar in microwave-safe bowl. Add butter and milk. Don’t stir.
Microwave for 2-3 minutes, until butter is melted and bubbly. (Baking time might be slightly lower or higher depending on your microwave’s power.) Stir immediately until completely combined. Add sprinkles. Do not overmix as sprinkle colour may bleed.
Spread into greased pan. Refrigerate for at least one hour.

I ran off to the grocery store as soon as I saw this(can’t believe I was out of funfetti!). My batch is currently cooling in the fridge. Can’t wait to try it!
I added extra sprinkles to the top and gently pressed them in before refrigerating.
Because, more sprinkles. =P
This makes me so happy Victoria! I guess I forgot to add the extra sprinkles on top. Hope you enjoy…it is kind of addicting. Thanks for stopping by the blog!
Thanks for posting the recipe. Like all fudge, this can really only be eaten in moderate squares, but it is delicious! It reminds me of cold stone creamery’s cake batter ice cream, my favorite flavor. Boyfriend also approves!
